This restaurant-style Garlic Black Pepper Chicken recipe is rapid and convenient to make at home, absolutely versatile if you’d like to sub in unique veggies or proteins, and it’s so comforting and delicious.
I often make this when I am bored with normal food and my tongue resist to have boring food yet I don’t want to spend lot of hours in the kitchen. My Hubby loves this recipe so much that he always asks me to cook it for him. Well we all ladies want our hubby to be happy with what we make for him and that too if the recipe is so simple than also you get full appreciation every time you make, then that would be the ultimate happiness on our faces.
This recipe is a mix of Chinese cuisine and Thai cuisine.

Around 1 KG Boneless Chicken cubes (2 lb)
1 Tsp Garlic Powder
½ Tsp of Salt
1 Tbsp of Corn flour (Corn Starch)
Green Bell Pepper
Red Bell Pepper
Green Onion with stalk
2 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp of Minced Garlic
3 Tbsp. of Soy Sauce (Thick)
2 Tbsp. of Honey
2 Tbsp. of Freshly Grounded Black Pepper
1 Tbsp of White pepper (Optional)
Once the pieces are cut into cubes, marinate them with garlic powder and little bit of salt.
Now in a bowl add Corn Flour and coat all the chicken cubes.
Now cut the green and red bell peppers into cube size pieces and also cut the green onion with stalk. Separate Green and white part.
Now in a small bowl add Soy Sauce, Honey, freshly grounded Black Pepper and white pepper and mix really well. (if you don’t have white pepper you can increase the quantity of black pepper)
Now in a sauce pan with medium heat add 2 Tbsp of oil and add all the chicken pieces and stir fry really well. Fry until chicken is cooked and the outer part of the chicken cubes becomes little crispy. Remove it and keep it warm only.
Now in the same pan on a medium heat with remaining oil add minced garlic and white part of green onion and stir fry. Add the bell peppers and stir fry well. Keep the veggies crunchy.
Now add the soy sauce mixture and cook it for 2 to 3 mins.
Add chicken pieces and stir fry really well for another 3 to 4 mins.
Garnish it with green onion and serve hot with steamed rice or fried rice.

It would be much better if you take chicken thigh pieces instead of Chicken Breast as it will be juicier.
You can always take veggies of your choice.
This recipe has authentic taste of Black Pepper and Garlic so don’t add other spices.
Keep the recipe with little bit of gravy (not much) as it will be easy for you to have it with plain steamed rice. If you feel that there would be no gravy left, add very little of water while cooking.
